The Eau Claire Tower, Calgary, Alberta

This 25 storey, 650,000-ft² office development includes a pedestrian bridge connecting it to the adjacent Centennial Place building. The tower is built to Class AAA, LEED Gold standards. The development also features a fitness and gym facility, separate bicycle parking complete with shower and locker facilities for cyclists commuting to work. HGC Engineering was involved in assessing and designing acoustical features for both base-building and fit out aspects of the project including the atrium, acoustical controls for adjoining fitness and conference centres, and typical HVAC noise control and sound isolation.
